IPConfigure VMS Integration

We created a clean, effective, cloud-to-cloud method to get license plate recognition for customers utilizing IPConfigure VMS.  Essentially, IPConfigure sends a short video clip over to Plate Recognizer when motion is detected by the VMS software.

Step 3.5.  In Motion Mask, use the slider to select the brush size and then mask the areas that you do NOT want motion detection.

Step 3.6.  Now, select Object Size to trigger motion detection.

Step 3.7.  Slide the lever to the approximate size of a vehicle.  Please note that the Object Size applies throughout the camera view, not just within the highlighted blue rectangle.

Please note that if the Object Size is too small or not set, then a bird, dog or human passing by may trigger motion detection.  This may result in a lot of false positive reads and will lead to a number of unnecessary video clips sent over to Plate Recognizer.

Step 3.8.  When done, click to Update Camera.
