i-PRO Camera Integration

We have created a simple, elegant, cost-effective way to get ALPR for i-PRO Cameras!

Basically, upon vehicle detection, the i-PRO Camera sends an image via HTTP to Snapshot Cloud. We analyze the image for license plate recognition and show results in the PR Dashboard (which can be forwarded to the ParkPow ALPR Dashboard).

i-PRO Cameras with AI-VMD (AI Video Motion Detection) can differentiate between vehicles, two-wheeled vehicles, and people. They detect and notify when these entities enter a specified area and issue an alarm when an object moving in a specific direction crosses a set threshold.

The integration works for the following i-PRO Cameras with AI-VMD below.

Set Up Camera AI Motion Detection Setting

Read through your camera instruction manual on how to set up events for HTTP.

With these AI-VMD cameras, the alerts can be triggered based on the following events:

Intruders.
Loitering.
Direction.
Cross line.

Step 1.1. In the camera dashboard, go into Setup > Alarm.

Scroll below till you see HTTP alarm notification setup

Step 2.1 Click on the checkbox to enable the alarm.

Copy/paste the URL and notification data below into the respective fields. Make sure to change the blue terms below with your information.

Address: sdk_ip_address:8080

Notification data: /v1/plate-reader/?camera_id=YOUR_CAMERA_ID®ions=XX&mmc=true

Replace SDK_IP_ADDRESS to the IP address/domain name Snapshot SDK is running from. It must be reachable for the camera.
Replace YOUR_CAMERA_ID to whatever you desire.
Replace XX and XY with the desired regions from our Countries list.
The URL above includes Vehicle MMC detection. If you don’t have Vehicle MMC in your plan, then omit &mmc=true.

Leave User name/Password fields blank and click on Set.

Now, based on the events you’ve set, the i-PRO Camera will send an image via HTTP to the SDK.
